About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced SDET with strong expertise in .NET, C#, and API Testing. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in the Banking domain and be skilled in developing automation frameworks and ensuring the quality of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using C# and .NET.

- Develop and execute automated tests for web and backend applications.

- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured or similar.

- Create and maintain automated regression and functional test suites.

- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements.

- Identify, troubleshoot, and track defects throughout the SDLC.

- Perform integration, regression, functional, and end-to-end testing.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test automation standards.

- Ensure applications meet quality, performance, and reliability standards.

- Apply knowledge of Banking/Financial Services processes and applications in testing activities.

Required Skills:

- 7+ years of experience in Software Testing / SDET.

- Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET.

- Strong experience in API Testing and automation.

- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, authentication, and API validation.

- Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar.

- Strong knowledge of SQL/database testing.

- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.

- Strong experience in the Banking/Financial Services domain.

Good to Have:

- Experience with Azure DevOps / Jenkins.

- Experience with BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow.

- Knowledge of Microservices testing.

- Experience with performance or security testing.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
