Job Description : QA Engineer

Experience : 7+ Years

Location : Hyderabad / Gurugram

Role : QA Engineer - Automation Testing

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.

- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.

- Write and execute complex SQL queries for database validation and backend testing.

- Prepare and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.

- Identify, document, track, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to understand requirements and ensure quality.

- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.

- Analyze test results and provide detailed defect reports and test execution summaries.

- Participate in test planning, estimation, reviews, and release activities.

- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to improving automation frameworks and QA processes.

Mandatory Skills :

- 7+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright

- Strong knowledge of API Testing

- Strong SQL / Database Testing skills

- Experience in automation framework development and maintenance

- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC

- Experience with Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing

- Good knowledge of Git and CI/CD

- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

- Knowledge of API automation and backend testing

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
