Job Summary:

We are looking for a strong QA Automation Lead with 8+ years of experience in software testing and automation. The candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Playwright, API Testing, and SQL, along with experience leading QA teams and driving automation strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead QA automation strategy, planning, and execution.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Playwright automation frameworks.

- Perform UI, API, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.

- Develop and execute API automation and validate backend services.

- Perform SQL/database testing and data validation.

- Mentor and guide QA/automation engineers.

- Conduct code reviews and establish automation best practices.

- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.

- Analyze failures, troubleshoot defects, and perform root-cause analysis.

- Work closely with Development, Product, and Business teams.

- Track quality metrics, test coverage, defects, and release readiness.

- Drive continuous improvement in automation processes and frameworks.

Mandatory Skills:

- 8+ years of QA/Software Testing experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.

- Strong API Testing experience.

- Good hands-on SQL and database testing experience.

- Experience in automation framework design and development.

- Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

- Experience in team leadership/mentoring.

- Good knowledge of Git and CI/CD.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have:

- Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.

- Selenium experience.

- Postman / REST / Swagger.

- Jenkins, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

- JIRA and Agile/Scrum experience.

- Experience working with cloud-based applications.
