Functional Test Lead

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage a team of functional testers with expertise in Pharma/Healthcare background.

- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product owners to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test plans and cases.

- Create, review, and maintain comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data for functional testing.

- Execute manual functional tests and ensure test coverage across all requirements.

- Ensure traceability from business requirements to test scenarios.

- Drive defect triage meetings, ensure accurate defect logging and verification.

- Monitor test progress, quality metrics, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.

- Ensure adherence to quality standards, compliance, and best practices.

- Identify risks and issues related to testing activities and escalate as needed.

- Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on best testing practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 8+ years of experience in functional testing, including at least 2 years in a lead role.

- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.

- Excellent knowledge of functional and regression testing principles.

- Hands-on experience with test management tools like JIRA-XRAY, HP ALM.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
