Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Functional Safety Lead Software to drive the development and compliance of safety-critical software systems.

The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end functional safety activities across the software lifecycle, ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 and IEC 61508.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead functional safety activities across Concept, Design, Implementation, Verification, and Production phases.

- Perform HARA, FMEA/FMEDA, FTA, and safety risk assessments.

- Define and manage software safety requirements and traceability.

- Architect fail-safe and fault-tolerant software systems.

- Enforce MISRA C/C++ and safe software development practices.

- Lead verification, validation, fault injection, and MC/DC coverage activities.

- Drive adoption of safety tools including DOORS, Polarion, MIL/SIL/HIL, and static analysis tools.

- Support audits, certifications, and compliance activities.

- Collaborate across system, hardware, software, and QA teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong expertise in ISO 26262 Part 6 and safety-critical software development.

- Experience with IEC 61508 and DO-178C preferred.

- Knowledge of HARA, FMEA/FMEDA, FTA, ASIL determination, and safety concepts.

- Embedded systems, real-time software, and C/C++ development experience.

- Experience with MISRA guidelines, static analysis, and safety verification.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and audit experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

- T- V Functional Safety Certification.

- Automotive, EV, ADAS, or Autonomous Systems experience.

- Exposure to ISO 21434 cybersecurity and safety integration.
