Functional Quality Engineer - Application Testing

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and execute functional test plans based on business requirements and technical specifications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end quality across the software development lifecycle.

- Perform manual and automated testing of UI and APIs using tools like Selenium, Cucumber, and Postman.

- Develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data.

- Conduct regression, integration, and system testing.

- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

- Ensure compliance with TDD/BDD methodologies and contribute to automation frameworks.

Requirements :

- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Engineering or Software Testing.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in functional testing of enterprise applications.

- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber).

- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, Agile frameworks, and SDLC.

- Experience with API testing and scripting (e.g., Java, Python).

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control systems like Git.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
