Position Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Functional QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through comprehensive testing methodologies and processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Test Case Development : Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios

- Bug Identification : Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools

- Test Planning : Participate in test planning activities and contribute to test strategy development

- Cross-Platform Testing : Perform testing across different browsers, operating systems, and devices

Documentation & Reporting :

- Defect Reporting : Document bugs with clear reproduction steps, expected vs actual results, and severity levels

- Status Reporting : Provide regular testing status updates and quality metrics to stakeholders

- Requirements Analysis : Review and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories

Collaboration & Communication :

- Sprint Participation : Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

- Stakeholder Communication : Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality concerns to management

- Knowledge Sharing : Share testing best practices and mentor junior team members

Process Improvement :

- Tool Evaluation : Research and recommend testing tools and technologies

- Quality Standards : Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices

- Continuous Learning : Stay updated with latest testing trends, tools, and methodologies

Required Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Domain : Wealth Management/ Financial Management

- Testing Methodologies : Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and various testing methodologies

- Test Management Tools : Experience with test management tools (Jira, Notion, Xray, etc.)

- Bug Tracking : Proficiency in bug tracking tools (Jira)

- API Tes00ting : Basic knowledge of API testing using tools like GraphQL

- Database Knowledge : Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and testing

Domain Knowledge :

- Mobile Testing : Understanding of mobile application testing (iOS/Android)

- E-commerce/SaaS : Experience in Wealth Domain or enterprise application testing

- Performance Awareness : Basic understanding of performance testing concepts

Soft Skills :

- Attention to Detail : Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases

- Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Time Management : Ability to manage multiple testing projects simultaneously
