Position : Functional Engineer SP & DP APO

Technical Experience :

Scope of Responsibilities :

This is a hands-on functional role responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP APO solutions across both SAP and non-SAP platforms. The FE will lead project implementation, enhancements, and change management activities while collaborating closely with cross-functional business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct business requirement and discovery sessions to capture Supply and Demand Planning needs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and document technical requirements.

- Configure SAP APO modules (DP, SNP, PPDS) and set up integration points as per finalized designs.

- Support integration with external systems such as Arete.

- Perform unit testing, system testing, and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Support go-live activities and provide Hypercare post-deployment assistance.

- Maintain solution documentation and transition knowledge to support and operations teams.

Education Requirements :

- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Technical Experience :

Supply Planning :

- Mandatory experience in SNP Optimizer and Deployment functions.

- Strong background in PPDS DSPB and Heuristics configuration.

- Experience working with user exits in SNP and CIF (Core Interface) configuration and reconciliation management.

Demand Planning :

- 4+ years of experience configuring SAP APO DP with deep expertise in planning books, macros, and statistical forecasting models.

- Familiarity with user exits and enhancements within APO DP.

- Experience integrating APO DP with Arete P10 preferred.

- Knowledge of SAP HANA modeling or APO-HANA integration is an added advantage.
