Location : Pune / Bangalore

Experience : 5 - 10 Years

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Workday Functional Consultant with hands-on expertise in Core HCM, Payroll, and Workday Security.

The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Workday implementations and enhancements.

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

Workday Core HCM

- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on functional experience

Strong knowledge of :

- Business processes

- Supervisory organizations

- Position management

- Staffing models

- Compensation

- Workday HCM Core Certification (mandatory)

Workday Payroll

- At least 3+ years of payroll functional experience

- Knowledge of payroll processes, pay components, pay groups, and payroll inputs

- Ability to troubleshoot payroll calculation issues and support payroll operations

Workday Security

- Minimum 1 year experience with Workday Security

- Experience in configuring security groups, domain security policies, business process security

- Knowledge of role-based security concepts

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform end-to-end functional support for Workday Core HCM and Payroll modules

Configure and maintain:

- HCM business processes

- Payroll elements

- Calculations and integrations touchpoints

- Manage and optimize Workday security configurations

- Work with HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions

- Support Workday enhancement cycles, testing, and deployments

- Troubleshoot functional issues and work closely with Workday support teams

- Prepare functional documentation, impact analysis, and training material

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integrations and data validations

Good To Have Skills:

- Workday Reporting (Advanced/Matrix reports)

- Workday EIBs, Calculated fields

- Experience with Workday absence/time tracking

- Exposure to integrations (EIB, Core Connectors)

- Experience in Agile delivery environments
