About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR) Consultant with strong Finance & Accounting functional expertise and hands-on end-user experience. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of IFRS 15 / ASC 606, revenue recognition processes, and integration with SAP FI/SD.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end implementation and support of SAP RAR modules, including configuration, testing, and deployment.

- Work closely with Finance business users to understand revenue accounting requirements and translate them into system solutions.

- Manage RAR contract management, performance obligations, revenue postings, allocation, and revenue recognition rules.

- Configure RAR objects: POBs, derivation rules, allocation rules, event framework, and RAR accounting engine.

- Support integration of SAP RAR with FI, SD, BRIM, and other associated modules.

- Handle month-end / year-end closing activities related to RAR.

- Perform UAT, system testing, documentation, and training for end users.

- Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements for automation and efficiency.

- Troubleshoot issues, resolve incidents, and support continuous system enhancements.

- Coordinate with functional, technical, and cross-functional teams for solution delivery.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7+ years of experience in SAP Finance, with at least 4+ years in SAP RAR.

- Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 / ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.

- Hands-on experience in end-user business processes involving revenue, billing, and financial reconciliation.

- Expertise in FI (GL, AP, AR), SD Billing, and Revenue Accounting integration.

- Experience in writing functional specifications, working with ABAP teams, and validating technical designs.

- Good understanding of RAR Cockpit, Contract Management, POB lifecycle, Allocation rules, and Event-Based Revenue Recognition.

- Experience in support, rollout, or S/4HANA transformation projects is a plus.

- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP Certification in Finance / RAR (nice to have)

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA RAR (Desirable)

- Exposure to BRIM, SD Revenue Accounting, or Subscription Billing is an added advantage.
