Role Description :
This is a full-time on-site role for a Functional Consultant F&O, based in Chennai.
The Functional Consultant will collaborate with clients to understand business processes, analyze requirements, and provide tailored Microsoft Finance and Operations solutions.
Key responsibilities include conducting consultations, designing workflows, improving financial and operational processes, and offering technical and functional support.
The position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation and optimization of F&O systems.

Job Description :
Project Management & Accounting :
- Manage project setup, funding limits, WBS structures, budgeting, and revenue recognition.
- Configure timesheets, project billing, and utilization reporting.
- Support project profitability and cost tracking.
Expense Management :
- Configure expense policies, categories, and workflows.
- Integrate expense reporting with finance and project modules.
Procurement & Sourcing (Purchase Process) :
- Configure purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor management.
- Set up procurement workflows and approval hierarchies.
- Support AP team on their day-to-day procurement and invoice process.
HR & Workflow Management:
- Configure HR parameters, worker master and position management.
- Set up and manage HR-related workflows (onboarding, deactivation, approval hierarchies).
- Collaborate with HR and Project Management Team on onboarding resources in Projects.
Finance Module :
- Configure and manage GL, AP, AR, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, and Periodic processes.
- Provide end-user support for day-to-day operations and resolve ongoing issues.
- Handle accruals, provisions, and financial reporting requirements.
Cross-Functional Support :
- Design and configure approval workflows across modules.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and suggest best practices.
Good to Have :
- Experience in Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Experience in implementations (multi-country, multi-currency).
- Knowledge in tax/localization setups.
