Oracle SCM Cloud Consultant

Job Overview :

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle SCM Cloud Consultant to join our team. With a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Oracle Cloud implementation and support, you'll be instrumental in leading and executing projects across various Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules. This role demands deep functional and technical expertise in Oracle SCM Cloud, a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, and a track record of successful, customer-facing implementations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and execute comprehensive Oracle SCM Cloud implementation projects, spanning from requirements gathering and solution design to configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.

- Provide expert functional and technical guidance across multiple Oracle SCM Cloud modules, including but not limited to :

1. Inventory Management : Item master, inventory organizations, subinventories, ABC analysis, cycle counting, inventory transactions, costing methods.

2. Procurement : Purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier management, sourcing, agreements, procurement contracts, self-service procurement.

3. Order Management : Order fulfillment, order promising, shipping, receiving, pricing, global order promising.

4. Manufacturing (optional) : Work definitions, work orders, discrete manufacturing, process manufacturing.

5. Planning (optional) : Supply chain planning, demand management, sales and operations planning (S&OP).

6. Cost Management (optional) : Costing methods, cost roll-ups, inventory valuation.

- Conduct detailed business process reviews and requirement gathering sessions with clients, analyzing current states and defining future-state processes within the Oracle SCM Cloud framework.

- Perform thorough FIT-GAP analysis, identifying standard functionalities, proposing best practices, and documenting necessary customizations, extensions, or reports (RICEW objects).

- Configure and customize various Oracle SCM Cloud functionalities to align with specific client business needs and optimize supply chain operations.

- Design and support the development of integrations between Oracle SCM Cloud and other enterprise systems, leveraging Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), web services, or other integration methodologies.

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT), managing defect resolution and ensuring solution quality.

- Provide ongoing post-go-live support and troubleshooting for Oracle SCM Cloud modules, resolving complex issues and ensuring system stability and user adoption.

- Drive enhancements and optimizations to existing Oracle SCM Cloud functionalities, recommending solutions for process improvements and efficiency gains.

- Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including functional design documents (FDDs), configuration workbooks, test scripts, and training materials.

- Collaborate effectively with project managers, technical developers, other functional consultants, and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

- Conduct client workshops and provide training to end-users and key stakeholders on Oracle SCM Cloud functionalities and best practices.

Required Skillset :

- 5+ years of experience specifically in Oracle Cloud (SaaS) Implementation or Support roles.

- A minimum of 2 full lifecycle Oracle SCM Cloud implementations completed in a customer-facing role.

- Deep functional and technical proficiency in Oracle Cloud Inventory Management and Oracle Cloud Procurement, including Supplier Management and Sourcing modules.

- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain business processes.

- Experience with data migration strategies and execution for Oracle SCM Cloud.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and functional concepts to diverse audiences.

- Proven ability to work effectively as a team player in a collaborative environment.

- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, take ownership of tasks, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with additional Oracle SCM Cloud modules, such as Order Management, Manufacturing, Planning Central, or Cost Management.

- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other integration tools.

- Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or other BI tools for SCM reporting.

- Relevant Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle SCM Cloud Implementation Specialist).
