Functional Consultant - Oracle EBS & PPM Modules

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement, configure, and support Oracle E-Business Suite Project Portfolio Management (PPM) modules primarily Project Costing and Project Billing.

- Work closely with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design solutions, and translate business needs into functional specifications.

- Perform system setups, configurations, and customizations related to Project Costing and Billing.

- Support integration of PPM with other Oracle EBS modules such as Finance (GL, AP, AR), Procurement, and HR.

- Manage and troubleshoot issues related to project accounting, cost distribution, revenue generation, and invoice processing.

- Conduct unit testing, UAT support, and deployment activities for enhancements and projects.

- Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.

- Collaborate with technical teams to design and validate custom reports, interfaces, and extensions (RICE components).

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls within project financial processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12 PPM modules.

- Strong functional knowledge of:

- Project Costing

- Project Billing

- Integration with GL, AP, AR, and FA modules

- Proven ability to handle end-to-end project lifecycle including implementation, support, and upgrades.

- Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment.

- Sound understanding of project accounting flows, revenue recognition, and cost control.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Oracle PPM Cloud or migration from EBS to Fusion (a plus).

- Oracle EBS certification or related professional certification (preferred).

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
