Role : Full Stack Software Engineer, Contract, Power Tools and Lifting

Location : Bengaluru, IN

Position Responsibilities :

- Design, develop & port backend and frontend web software on Linux

- Work closely with UX design team to define & implement the web user interface for the device

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Must have : full stack development

1. Node JS

2. React JS

3. Using Websockets and realtime data

4. Postgres SQL databases AND SQL queries

5. Integration, debugging skills

Nice to have :

1. Other web backends optimized for compute and memory constrained environments

2. Exposure to containers and cloud deployments of Node JS applications

Work Environment :

- Office-based (Hybrid schedule) with some travel to other PTL locations, customer sites and industry events.

- Sedentary to light physical effort necessary to perform the job. There will be extended periods of sitting and using a computer.

Experience :

- Must have :

1. 5+ years of experience as a software development engineer

2. 3+ years of experience in all of the full stack development areas listed above

Nice to have : Experience with implementing a full stack for a system with limited memory and compute

Education : Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
