Our in-house Software Engineering team enables business by designing, building, deploying, and maintaining energy trading software that meets user and business needs.

Position Summary :

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for taking key technical decisions, designing and building scalable, high-quality software on time. In addition, you will be required to facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure that engineering activities are consistent with business objectives.

Your Responsibilities :

- Designing and implementing robust, integrated, cloud-based software solutions with a focus on innovative technologies to accelerate our algo trading and analytics capability.

- Working closely with Front Office, Risk and other stakeholders to analyse, capture and transform their business requirements into trade automation and analytics solutions.

- Align with other developers, data scientists and design architects throughout the full agile development process.

Essential Qualifications :

- A degree in or related to Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other related discipline.

- Significant Python & Node.js Back End programming experience (4+ years).

- Significant Front End development experience (3+ years) using React.js and Typescript.

- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Experience with Agile delivery processes (Scrum, Kanban etc).

- Professional fluency in English (spoken and written).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Tangible experience working in a trading environment, ideally energy trading.

- Experience with gas or power scheduling and dispatch processes.

- DevOps (CICD), Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Flink and Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
