Full Stack Javascript Developer

About the Opportunity :

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack JavaScript Developer for a freelance engagement. Youll work on building and scaling modern web applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems and thrives in a remote setup.

Key Responsibilities:

- Write, test, and deploy production-quality code.

- Take complete ownership of user stories - from design to release.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-impact features.

- Participate actively in sprint planning, demos, and code reviews.

- Debug and resolve complex technical issues while improving application performance.

- Contribute to the evolution of engineering standards, best practices, and team processes.

Required Skills & Experience :

Frontend :

- Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Modern JavaScript (ES6+).

- Experience working with GraphQL and component-driven architecture.

Backend :

- Hands-on experience with Node.js, NestJS, and RESTful APIs.

- Proficiency with MongoDB and cloud platforms such as AWS (Lambda, ECS, SQS, DynamoDB, etc.

Additional Requirements :

- Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with an end-to-end ownership mindset.

- Prior experience working in distributed or remote teams with effective communication.

- A reliable remote setup: high-speed internet and a good-quality audio setup for meetings and pair programming.

Nice to Have :

- Familiarity with serverless architecture, microservices, or DevOps practices.

- Exposure to automated testing and performance monitoring tools.
