Full Stack Engineer - Python/React.js

Skill-Up Technologies is looking for a highly skilled Full stack Developer to join our Technology team.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications from conception to deployment.

You will be responsible for both the front-end user interface and the back-end server-side logic, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.

Full stack developers will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

- Design and develop front-end applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React).

- Develop robust back-end applications using server-side languages and frameworks (React and Next.js including Python with Django).

- Create and maintain well-documented, clean, and efficient code.

- Build and manage RESTful APIs for data exchange.

- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure code quality and functionality.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and fix bugs in existing applications.

- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in web development technologies and best practices.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities :

- Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React.

- Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Java, Node JS.

- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).

- Experience with building and maintaining APIs.

- Experience with version control systems.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Good problem-solving skills.

- Passion for building high-quality software.

- Proficient in Python and experienced with the Django web framework.

- Understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture.

- Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration.

- Experience using JIRA for task tracking and Agile methodologies.

Good to have :

- Experience with Cloud platforms, particularly Azure.

- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.

- Experience with testing frameworks.

- Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in information technology or computer science.
