About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled and versatile Full-Stack Engineer with hands-on experience in React, React Native/Expo, and Python to join our development team.

You will be responsible for building scalable web and mobile applications, designing robust backend systems, and delivering seamless user experiences across platforms.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js

- Build and deploy cross-platform mobile applications using React Native with Expo

- Develop and maintain robust backend services/APIs using Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI)

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces

- Integrate third-party APIs and manage cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Firebase)

- Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of all developed applications

- Participate in code reviews, testing, and optimisation efforts

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Frontend :

- Strong experience with React.js and component-based architecture

- Solid understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3

- Proficient with React Native and Expo CLI for mobile app development

- Experience with Redux, React Navigation, and mobile performance optimisation

- Familiarity with mobile app deployment to App Store and Google Play Store

Backend :

- Proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in Django, or FastAPI

- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs (GraphQL is a plus)

- Understanding of authentication methods (OAuth, JWT, etc.)

- Database experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB

DevOps / Tooling :

- Familiarity with version control (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

- Exposure to AWS

- Exposure to Docker and containerised deployment workflows (nice to have)

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

- Passion for clean code, performance, and continuous learning

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

- 2+ years of full-stack development experience

- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced product environment
