Full Stack Engineer - Node.js/React.js

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

Build End-to-End Features :

- Design and implement complete features from database to UI using Next.js and Node.js .

- You'll own the entire stack, creating seamless experiences that delight students while ensuring rock-solid performance and reliability.

Craft Engaging User Interfaces :

- Build responsive, intuitive, and performant web applications using Next.js, React, and modern CSS frameworks.

- You'll create interfaces that make complex medical content accessible and engaging for thousands of nursing students daily.

Architect Full-Stack Solutions :

- Design scalable APIs and microservices with Node.js while leveraging Next.js 's powerful features like SSR, SSG, and API routes.

- You'll make critical decisions about data flow, state management, and system architecture.

Optimize Performance Across the Stack :

- Implement performance optimizations from database queries to frontend bundle sizes.

- You'll ensure our platform loads instantly, even on slower mobile networks across India, while handling thousands of concurrent users.

Lead Technical Innovation :

- Collaborate directly with founders and the product team to prototype and ship new features rapidly.

- You'll tackle challenges like real-time collaborative learning tools, interactive medical simulations, and adaptive learning algorithms.

Ensure Code Quality & Mentor Team :

- Establish coding standards, conduct thorough code reviews, and mentor junior developers. You'll champion best practices in both frontend and backend development, building a culture of technical excellence.

Own DevOps & Deployment :

- Manage the complete deployment pipeline, from CI/CD setup to production monitoring.

- You'll ensure smooth deployments, implement A/B testing frameworks, and maintain high availability for our growing user base.

Requirements :

- 2+ Years of Full-Stack Development Experience : You've built and shipped production web applications end-to-end, preferably in EdTech, HealthTech, or high-traffic consumer platforms.

- Expert in Next.js & React Ecosystem : You're deeply proficient in Next.js, React, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

- You understand SSR vs CSR trade-offs, can optimize Core Web Vitals, and know how to leverage Next.js features for maximum performance.

- Strong Node.js Backend Skills : You can build robust APIs, work with both SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis) databases, and understand authentication, caching, and security best practices.

- Frontend Craftsmanship : You have an eye for design and can translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces. Experience with Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion, or similar modern styling solutions is a plus.

- State Management & Data Flow Expert : You understand when to use Context API vs Redux vs Zustand, can implement efficient data fetching strategies (SWR/React Query), and know how to optimize re-renders.

- Problem-Solving Mindset : You can debug across the entire stack, from database performance issues to React rendering problems.

- You're comfortable with browser DevTools, performance profiling, and monitoring tools.

- Startup DNA : You're scrappy, move fast, and can wear multiple hats.

- You understand the balance between shipping quickly and building maintainable code. Previous early-stage startup experience is a huge plus.
