Full Stack Engineer (.NET & AWS Cloud Modernization)

Role Overview :

The Full Stack Engineer (.NET or AWS) is a critical Backfill position requiring strong expertise in both application development and cloud infrastructure, supporting a major cloud migration currently underway from legacy Java systems to AWS.

This is an Exclusive Role that is Fully remote (open to onshore, nearshore, or offshore), requiring offshore candidates to have overlap with EST hours until at least noon.

The role demands mandatory strong hands-on experience with AWS, .NET, and modern cloud-based architectures, with an added emphasis on AWS/cloud modernization efforts.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly proficient Full Stack Engineer with mandatory hands-on expertise in the AWS ecosystem and .NET development to support the end-to-end cloud modernization initiative. The ideal candidate possesses full stack capability required for requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support of scalable, high-performance, .NET-based applications. Key responsibilities include implementing cloud infrastructure components, setting up CI/CD pipelines, contributing to DevOps automation, and ensuring high performance and reliability across the new AWS-native applications.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Deliverables :

Cloud Migration and Modernization (AWS/DevOps Focus) :

- Support the migration of applications to AWS, actively participating in all technical phases of the cloud modernization project from legacy Java systems.

- Implement cloud infrastructure components (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS) using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles (e.g., CloudFormation or Terraform).

- Contribute to DevOps automation and environment setup in AWS, focusing on security, scalability, and cost optimization.

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools to ensure automated build, test, and deployment processes.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for architecture, deployment procedures, and production support runbooks.

Full Stack Development (.NET Focus) :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable .NET-based applications that are cloud-native and follow modern architectural patterns (e.g., Microservices).

- Possess full stack capability required, including requirements gathering, application design, backend and frontend development, functional testing, deployment, and ongoing production support.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to security standards.

Production Support and Reliability :

- Troubleshoot complex production issues related to application performance, cloud infrastructure, and data integrity.

- Implement monitoring solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) and logging strategies to ensure high performance and reliability of deployed systems.

- Ensure all applications adhere to security best practices and compliance standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

Experience : Strong hands-on experience with cloud development and migration.

Core Stack : Mandatory expertise in .NET (Core/Framework) and AWS services.

Architecture : Strong understanding of cloud-based architectures (Serverless, Containerization, Microservices).

Development : Full stack capability required (API development, database interaction, front-end framework experience).

DevOps : Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and contributing to DevOps automation.

Preferred Skills :

- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

- Experience migrating applications from legacy Java or monolithic systems to modern architectures.

- Proficiency in a modern JavaScript/TypeScript frontend framework (e.g., React, Angular).

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/ECS).
