Full Stack Engineer - Java/React.js

Job Title : Full Stack Engineer (SDE-III)

Experience : 8 to 15 years

Job Location : Chennai

Reports to : CTO

About the candidate :

The ideal full stack engineer that we are looking for

- who can work on both back end and front end systems

- who can work from a problem statement, collect data points, build, implement, production Alize, monitor, measure and maintain solutions

- Experiment and Introduce leading edge technologies

Key Responsibilities include :

- working with Development teams (SDE-1s, SDE-2s & Data Engineers) and Digital Product owners on product ideation & wire framing. But produce results independently

- Work on technical design and proof of concepts

- Building front end applications with good very good visual and mobile responsive design

- Exposing business functionalities through restful APIs

- Integration with other systems as needed

- Testing of software

- Troubleshoot , debug software

- Create security and data protection settings

- Create monitoring and measuring of software and feature effectiveness

- Write technical documentation

Key requirements include :

- Bachelor degree in Computer Science with about 8+ years of experience

- Proven prior experience as full stack engineer in a product organization

- Experience in developing web applications and mobile applications

- Hands on coding experience in java 8 and python is a must

- Hands on experience with technology stacks and design patterns

Backend Frameworks like :

- Base frame works like spring (spring boot,spring mvc, spring jpa spring aop,spring security,spring batch)

- Workflow frameworks like flowable (BPMN,Case Management)

- Testing frameworks like Junit,mockito

- Messaging frameworks like rabbitmq / apachemq

- Caching frameworks like redis

- Security/code quality tools like sonarqube,jacoco or alike

- API gateways like Amazon API gateway/Kong/Nginx

- IDAM solutions like keycloak/OpenIAM/WSO2

- Exposure in working with databases like MariaDB/Mysql/Postgres/MongoDB and web

containers like apache/niginx/Tomcat

- Swagger API documentation

- Microservices architecture and relevant design patterns

Front end frameworks like (Optional- Added Advantage) :

- Front end languages like HTML,CSS,JavaScript,Jquery

- Frameworks like React,Node.js

- Testing frameworks like Jasmine/Karma

- Familiarity with UI/UX design

DevOps Frameworks like :

- Version control tools like GIT (github/gitlab/bitbucket)

- Artifact management tools like Maven,Gradle,Angular CLI,Node.js

- CI/CD deployment automation tools like Jenkins,Bamboo

- Test Automation tools like Selenium

- Container management tools like Docker,Kubernetes

- APM tools like Dynatrace, ELK APM, Prometheus

- Log aggregation frameworks like ELK/EFK

- DevOps experience with AWS/Azure/PCF/GCP

Other skills :

- Excellent communication skills - Ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders

- Attention to detail and dive deep

- Data oriented decision making

- Analytical mindset

Exception criteria : Only backend is also fine, ie., working as SDE.
