What Youll Do :

- Design & Develop Microservices : Architect, develop, and maintain robust and scalable microservices, primarily using Kotlin or Java, within a cloud-native environment.

- Build Cloud-Native Solutions : Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud-native applications, leveraging AWS services for high availability, performance, and security.

- Database Management : Work with various databases, including relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (ScyllaDB/Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch), to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.

- Implement DevOps Practices : Integrate and apply DevOps principles throughout the software development lifecycle, focusing on CI/CD pipelines, observability, and containerization.

- Ensure Code Quality & Security : Champion automated testing, write clean, maintainable, and secure code, and actively participate in code reviews.

- Support Frontend Integration : Collaborate with frontend developers, providing API support and occasionally contributing to frontend components using React, TypeScript, or JavaScript.

- Problem Solving : Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications.

What Were Looking For :

- Microservices Architecture : Strong background and hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications based on Microservices Architecture.

- Cloud Platforms : Proficient with cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS. Experience with services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, etc., is highly valued.

- Backend Expertise : Solid backend development experience in Kotlin or Java (with Spring Framework experience preferred). Experience with Ruby is also a plus.

- Database Proficiency : Hands-on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, ScyllaDB/Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch.

- DevOps Acumen : A solid understanding of DevOps practices, including :

- CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) pipeline setup and management.

- Observability tools like Dynatrace, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.

- Containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.

- Quality & Security Focus : A strong passion for automated testing and a commitment to writing clean, secure code.

- Frontend Exposure : Some practical exposure to frontend technologies like React, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
