Job Summary :

Altimetrik is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and React. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable web applications, working in cloud-native environments, and contributing to high-performing Agile teams. This role requires strong backend and frontend development skills, cloud knowledge, and a passion for clean, high-quality code.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Ruby on Rails and React.

- Implement backend solutions following MVC architecture and Rails best practices.

- Build responsive and dynamic frontend components using React.

- Write clean, testable code using TDD practices.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

- Containerize applications using Docker and deploy to AWS environments.

- Ensure AWS security compliance (IAM, Security Groups, KMS, Secrets Manager).

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

Mandatory Skills :

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

- 5+ years of experience in Full Stack Development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and React.

- Deep understanding of Rails framework, MVC architecture, and Ruby ecosystem.

- Experience with Ruby gems, Bundler, and dependency management.

- Hands-on experience with RSpec and/or Minitest.

- Proficiency with Git in collaborative environments.

- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, and AWS services.

- Strong understanding of AWS security standards (IAM, Security Groups, KMS, Secrets Manager).

- Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders.

- Commitment to quality engineering practices including TDD and CI/CD.

- Must be based in Hyderabad and available to work from office 2 - 3 days per week.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in microservices architecture.

- Exposure to scalable cloud-native systems.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
