Key Responsibilities

- Architect and implement secure, high-performance, and reusable code for financial systems (e.g., payment processing, trading platforms, lending systems, or wallet services).

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, with a strong focus on security and data protection standards (like PCI-DSS).

- Integrate with third-party APIs, including banking systems, payment gateways, and financial data providers.

- Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to best practices in software development.

- Identify and troubleshoot complex issues in a production environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-Have)

- Proven experience developing applications in the Fintech domain (Payments, Banking, Lending, Trading, etc.).

- Strong proficiency in frontend development: React.js, Redux/MobX, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.

- Strong proficiency in backend development: Node.js, Express.js, and Python (with frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI).

- Database expertise: Solid experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.

- API-first mindset: Experience designing and building secure RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.

- Understanding of fundamental Fintech principles: security, encryption, idempotency, transaction handling, and compliance.

- Familiarity with version control (Git), and agile development methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Skills (Good-to-Have) :

- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.

- Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) for building event-driven architectures.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with real-time data handling using WebSockets.
