Full Stack Developer - Python/Node.js/React.js

Description :

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong front-end development skills in React and hands-on experience with API integrations and PostgreSQL database management. This role will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining customer-facing and B2B web portals, ensuring seamless functionality, high performance, and secure data management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features, automate processes with scripts, and ensure reliable system integrations across platforms. You will be working to support a German company predominantly in core German operating hours from 8 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain web applications and portals for end customers and B2B partners using React.

- Design, run, and optimise scripts to support automation and operational needs.

- Integrate and manage APIs for seamless data exchange between systems.

- Maintain, optimise, and troubleshoot PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.

- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to implement new features.

- Monitor and improve application performance, scalability, and security.

- Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and database structures.

- Provide ongoing support for existing portals, fixing bugs and enhancing user experience.

Requirements :

- 3+ years of experience in full-stack or front-end development.

- Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

- Experience with RESTful API integration and development.

- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL(schemas, queries, optimization, backups).

- Hands-on experience running and maintaining scripts (Node.js, Python, or Bash preferred).

- Strong understanding of web application security and performance optimisation.

- Familiarity with version control systems(Git/GitHub/GitLab).

- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

- Strong knowledge of PHP 7/8 and the Laravel framework/ecosystem.

- Proficiency with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

- Experience in building and integrating RESTful APIs.

- Solid understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

- Familiarity with Linux environments and proficiency in using SSH/SFTP for server management and deployment.

- Experience with AWS EC2 is considered an asset.

Nice-to-have skills :

- Experience with backend frameworks(Node.js/Express or similar).

- Knowledge of cloud platforms(AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Experience with UI/UX best practices.
