About the Role :

We are hiring a backend-first full stack engineer who can design and scale robust backend systems while also contributing to React Native mobile applications. This role is for engineers who think deeply about data, APIs, and system design, and are comfortable owning features end-to-end.

Tech Stack :

- Backend : Node.js, NestJS

- Database : PostgreSQL

- ORM : TypeORM

- Mobile : React Native

- Language : JavaScript

- Styling : Shadcn, Tailwind

Responsibilities :

- Design and build scalable backend services using NestJS

- Develop and maintain REST APIs consumed by mobile clients

- Own PostgreSQL data modeling, migrations, indexing, and query optimization

- Work extensively with TypeORM for schema design and transactional logic

- Ensure backend systems are secure, performant, and reliable

- Integrate backend APIs with React Native applications

- Contribute to mobile feature development, debugging, and performance improvements

- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and design decisions

- Troubleshoot production issues and improve system stability

Required Qualifications :

- 3+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack development

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript

- Hands-on experience with Node.js and NestJS

- Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL

- Experience with TypeORM (or similar ORM with solid SQL understanding)

- Working experience with React/React Native

- Solid understanding of :

1. RESTful API design

2. Asynchronous programming

3. Backend system design fundamentals

Must-Have Background :

- Graduate from a top-tier IIT or equivalent elite engineering institute

- Prior experience in product-based companies

- Experience building and running production-grade systems

Good to Have :

- Experience with :

1. Redis / caching layers

2. Background jobs and queues

3. Authentication & authorization systems

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / GCP)

- Experience shipping and maintaining mobile apps at scale

- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning
