Job Overview :

- As part of this role, the Software Engineer would be working closely with the Functional and Technical leads across various applications, COE, and Infrastructure teams to deliver the right business outcomes.

Basic Qualifications :

- Master's/Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or Information Science or Electronics or Electrical & Electronics with 6 to 9 years of relevant software industry experience in ASP.Net, Angular, Design Patterns & Microservices.

- Minimum 3 years of working experience on cloud-based applications

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-based software solutions.

- Continuously improve software using Scrum and Agile development methodologies, including

daily standups and iteration planning meetings.

- Skilled in analyzing complex problems, documenting problem statements, and estimating

efforts.

- Able to take ownership of small- and medium-sized tasks, delivering results while mentoring and supporting team members.

- Capable of evaluating the implications of technology decisions.

- Proficient in writing high-quality code that meets standards and delivers the intended functionality using the selected technology.

- Ensure code quality through best practices, unit testing, and code quality automation.

- Demonstrates initiative in exploring alternative technologies and approaches to solving problems.

- Advocate for transparency by proactively sharing design choices with relevant audiences, ensuring appropriate detail and timeliness.

- Exhibits expert understanding of functional and nonfunctional requirements and their prioritization within the backlog.

- Work independently while closely collaborating with architects and technical leaders.

- Possess strong organizational skills to support the business in developing global products that span various technologies and deployment models.

- Adaptable to various technologies, working with teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Technical Expertise :

- Preference will be given to candidates with 5 or more years of experience developing web-based solutions that involve programming languages and web application platforms Angular

with ASP.NET Core

- Preference will be given to candidates with experience developing applications with both

relational databases and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Cassandra.

- Preference will be given to candidates with experience developing and supporting

applications in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment.

- Preference will be given to candidates with experience of docker, Kubernetes and monitoring

tools such as DataDog to handle deployment and operation of applications.

- Preference will be given to candidates with experience developing authentication solutions using OAuth 2.0

- 3+ years building responsive web applications for desktop and mobile devices.

- 3+ years with HTML, CSS, TypeScript, responsive design and JavaScript

- 3+ years integrating web applications with back-end services

- 3+ years working with Git or similar source code control
