You'll own both the backend infrastructure that powers Telo and the AI agent systems that make it intelligent. This isn't a role where you do one and dabble in the other - we need an engineer who builds production-grade FastAPI services and production-grade RAG pipelines with equal confidence.

Backend :

- Build production services using FastAPI + Python with PostgreSQL (relational + JSONB)

- Design scalable APIs for a multi-entity marketplace (venues, vendors, clients, bookings)

- Create ingestion pipelines and batch processing for large venue/vendor datasets

- Deploy and maintain services on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch)

AI Engineering :

- Build agentic AI workflows for real event planning operations, not demo-level prototypes

- Implement RAG pipelines grounded in venue, vendor, and event data

- Design embedding-based semantic search with hybrid retrieval (semantic + structured filters)

- Work with vector databases (PGVector, Pinecone, or Weaviate)

- Develop evaluation metrics for agent performance, grounding accuracy, and task reliability
