Job Overview :

We're looking for a skilled ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) Technical Consultant to join our team. With at least 5 years of experience, you'll be instrumental in implementing, configuring, and optimizing ServiceNow SAM solutions. This role demands a strong technical background, a deep understanding of SAM processes, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and participate in the full lifecycle implementation of ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions.

- Configure and customize ServiceNow SAM modules, including Software Entitlements, Software Models, Discovery Models, and License Workbench.

- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow SAM and other enterprise systems, leveraging various integration methods.

- Conduct technical workshops and gathering sessions to understand client requirements and translate them into technical designs and configurations within ServiceNow SAM.

- Perform data normalization and reconciliation activities within the SAM module to ensure accurate license positions.

- Provide technical expertise and support for SAM processes, including software discovery, inventory, normalization, reconciliation, and optimization.

- Develop and maintain custom scripts, workflows, and reports within ServiceNow to enhance SAM functionalities.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow SAM configurations and integrations.

- Collaborate with functional consultants, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

- Provide training and knowledge transfer to client teams on ServiceNow SAM functionalities.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Consultant focused on ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM).

- Proven hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform configuration and development, including Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Workflows, and Integrations.

- In-depth understanding of Software Asset Management (SAM) principles, processes, and best practices.

- Experience with various software licensing models (perpetual, subscription, user-based, core-based, etc.).

- Proficiency in JavaScript within the ServiceNow platform.

- Experience with data manipulation and analysis, especially in the context of large datasets for software inventory and entitlements.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (both written and verbal).

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
