Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly experienced and adept Senior Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Oracle Order Management Cloud or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Order Management. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, focusing on the successful implementation of Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions. You will be instrumental in bridging complex business requirements with system capabilities, performing detailed FIT-GAP analysis, and ensuring seamless project delivery while managing stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and execute comprehensive business requirements gathering for Oracle Order Management and integrated SCM modules, including but not limited to Shipping and Inventory.
- Conduct in-depth FIT-GAP analysis, identifying specific system capabilities, configuration requirements, necessary customizations (RICEW - Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows), and potential process re-engineering needs for Oracle Order Management implementations.
- Drive the successful functional implementation of Oracle Order Management solutions, encompassing setup, configuration, data migration strategy, and validation for Order to Cash (OTC) processes.
- Possess a strong understanding of the financial impacts of Order Management transactions, including revenue recognition, cost accounting (e.g., COGS), and integration with Oracle Financials for tax implications and GL postings.
- Collaborate effectively with technical teams to translate functional designs into precise technical specifications, ensuring accurate system build and development.
- Provide expert functional guidance and support throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, including system configuration, Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Go-Live.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, and end-user training materials.
- Actively manage and communicate with stakeholders across various business units and IT teams, ensuring alignment and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot complex functional issues within Oracle Order Management and related modules, performing root cause analysis and coordinating with technical teams or Oracle Support as needed.
- Contribute to the definition and adherence of implementation methodologies, best practices, and functional standards within the consulting practice.
Required Technical & Functional Qualifications :
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience as a Functional Consultant with Oracle Order Management Cloud or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Order Management.
- Demonstrated expertise in the implementation and configuration of core Order Management functionalities.
- Strong implementation experience with integrated Oracle SCM modules such as Shipping Execution and Inventory Management.
- Proven understanding of Order to Cash (OTC) business processes and their configuration within Oracle.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial impacts of Order Management transactions, including integration touchpoints with Oracle Financials (Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Tax).
- Extensive experience in conducting business requirements gathering, functional design, and FIT-GAP analysis.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into detailed functional specifications and system configurations.
- Experience in supporting various testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and resolving defects.
- Familiarity with Oracle implementation methodologies (OUM - Oracle Unified Method).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulate presentation to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
