Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Apps Technical Consultant with 5+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting custom solutions and integrations. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our Oracle Applications to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain customizations, extensions, modifications, localizations, and integrations (CEMLI) within Oracle E-Business Suite.

- Utilize core Oracle development tools such as SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, Oracle Workflow, and OA Framework.

Integration :

- Develop and support integrations between Oracle EBS and other internal or external systems using various methods including APIs, Open Interfaces, EDI, and custom programs.

Module Expertise :

- Work across various Oracle EBS modules (e.g., Financials, SCM, HRMS) to provide technical solutions and support.

Troubleshooting & Support :

- Provide technical support for Oracle EBS applications, diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to performance, data, and system functionality.

- Perform performance tuning for custom objects and database queries.

Documentation & Best Practices :

- Create and maintain detailed technical design documents, functional specifications, test plans, and deployment guides.

- Ensure adherence to Oracle best practices and architectural standards in all development activities.

Collaboration :

- Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, business users, project managers, and other technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Participate in requirement gathering, design discussions, and code reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications :


Experience :


- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Apps Technical Consultant.
- Proven experience in full lifecycle Oracle EBS implementations, upgrades, or significant support projects.


Core Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.

- Expertise in developing and customizing using Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and BI Publisher.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle Workflow Builder for workflow customizations.

- Experience with OA Framework personalizations and extensions.

- Knowledge of APIs and Open Interfaces for data integration and conversion.

Oracle EBS Understanding :

- Solid understanding of the Oracle E-Business Suite architecture and underlying database structures.

- Familiarity with at least two major Oracle EBS modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, PO, OM, INV, HR, Payroll).

Problem-Solving :

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

Communication :

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical discussions and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications :


- Experience with Oracle Forms Personalization and Custom.

- Familiarity with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) development.


- Knowledge of Web Services integration with Oracle EBS.

- Experience with data migration tools and techniques.

- Oracle certifications in relevant technical areas.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
