Role Purpose :

To contribute to the full software development lifecycle - requirements, design, development, and implementation of innovative software solutions for Composable Disaggregated Infrastructure (CDI) within a high-performing engineering team. This role will focus on developing managing, monitoring and alerting systems for CDI hardware with GUI functionalities. The successful candidate will collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements, design and implementation to testing and deployment.

- Collaborate with architect(s) on requirements & drive design solutions as per the defined scope.

- Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code that meets performance and security requirements.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects in a timely and efficient manner.

- Contribute to planning, status update & the improvement of development processes and tools.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives).

- Work closely with Japanese software and hardware teams to ensure smooth collaboration and knowledge sharing.

- Adhere to established coding standards and best practices.

- Proactively identify and report potential risks or issues.

- Contributes to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering high quality enterprise software & sound software engineering principles.

- Proven expertise in server management (management/control path) enterprise software, with practical experience in datacenter environments.

- Good understanding of technologies such as PCIe, CXL, and NTB.

- Strong understanding of SOLID, OOAD/OOPS, design patterns & ability to convert it to code.

- Analyses possible solutions and solves problems using experience.

- Proficiency in Python, Typescript. Excellent coder.

- Full-stack development experience GUI/Front end (Typescript, Angular framework) to backend.

- Exposure to server management protocols (Redfish, IPMI, SNMP), RESTful API.

- Excellent trouble-shooter & ability to resolve difficult issues.

- Provides coaching & guidance to junior colleagues.

- Effective team player - ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Experience using Agile/Scrum/Scrum at scale SDLC processes.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience :

- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).

- Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) container orchestrator.

- Experience with securing software applications (e.g., knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities).

- Experience of Open-Source Software (OSS) development.

- Leading Agile development teams.
