Frontend GIS Developer

We are looking for a Frontend GIS Developer with strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks and GIS technologies to build intuitive, interactive, and high-performance geospatial web applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Angular, ReactJS, NodeJS, and GIS mapping libraries such as Mapbox GL JS, Leaflet, or OpenLayers. You will work closely with GIS and backend teams to develop map-based applications and integrate geospatial data and AI-driven visualizations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Angular, ReactJS, or NodeJS.

- Build interactive GIS applications using Mapbox GL JS, Leaflet, or OpenLayers.

- Integrate geospatial data layers, maps, and REST APIs into frontend applications.

- Collaborate with GIS and backend teams to visualize spatial data such as tower locations, coverage maps, and overlays.

- Develop UI components for AI/ML outputs such as heatmaps and predictive markers.

- Ensure responsive, cross-browser compatible, and high-performance web applications.

- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following frontend best practices.

- Contribute to frontend architecture and reusable component libraries.

Required Skills:

- Strong proficiency in Angular, ReactJS, NodeJS, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

- Hands-on experience with GIS libraries such as Mapbox GL JS, Leaflet, or OpenLayers.

- Experience integrating GeoJSON, Spatial APIs, and REST APIs.

- Strong understanding of Redux, Context API, or other state management libraries.

- Knowledge of Git and version control.

- Experience working with npm, Yarn, Babel, or similar frontend build tools.

- Hands-on experience with OAuth, JWT, and SSL for application security.

- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and frontend best practices.

- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience visualizing AI/ML outputs and prediction data.

- Knowledge of Chart.js, D3.js, or Plotly.js.

- Exposure to TypeScript or Next.js.

- Understanding of telecom or GIS domain.

- Familiarity with GIS concepts such as GeoJSON, spatial data, mapping layers, and projections.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
