Description :
Role : Founding Frontend Engineer
We're building an AI system to accelerate teamwork for software teams. Most AI tools accelerate individuals, we want to accelerate teams. Starting by building systems that understand what teams are talking about, what needs to get done & bringing in contextual agents to move the work forward with minimal human effort.
The work you'll do :
This role is about building the surface layer - where AI-powered insights meet real users in real workflows.
- Core Product UI : Build and own the React application that surfaces tasks, status updates, scheduling suggestions, and agent actions to users.
- Real-time Experience : Implement real-time updates and notifications that keep users in sync with what's happening across their team - without refresh or delay.
- Component System : Design and maintain a clean, reusable component library with Tailwind CSS that scales as the product grows.
- Integration Surfaces : Build UI for OAuth flows, workspace configuration, and integration management across Slack, Jira, GitHub, and calendars.
- User-in-the-Loop Workflows : Create intuitive confirmation and approval flows where users validate AI-generated actions before they execute.
- Performance & Reliability : Optimize for fast load times, smooth interactions, and graceful handling of edge cases and error states.
- Deployment & Infrastructure : Own the Firebase hosting and deployment pipeline, ensuring smooth releases and rollback capabilities.
You'll work on problems that combine :
Presenting complex AI outputs in simple, actionable interfaces Real-time data synchronization across clients Building trust through clear, predictable UI behavior Rapid iteration based on user feedback Balancing polish with speed in an early-stage environment.
You'll be shaping how teams experience, not just implementing designs.
Who will thrive :
You've built and shipped React applications in production for 3-5+ years. You have strong fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend tooling. You care deeply about user experience and sweat the details that make interfaces feel right. You've worked with real-time data and understand the challenges of keeping the UI in sync. You're comfortable owning frontend infrastructure - builds, deploys, monitoring. You prefer small teams where your work has direct, visible impact. You want to build something the best global teams rely on every single day.
