Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Front-End Developer (eCommerce) to join our digital technology team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming innovative design concepts into fully functional, visually appealing, and high-performance web applications for our enterprise eCommerce platform. Youll work in a collaborative, agile environment alongside UI/UX designers, digital marketers, product owners, and developers to deliver exceptional digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with Digital Product Owners, UI/UX Designers, and Engineering teams to define and translate functional/technical requirements into scalable front-end solutions.

- Turn design mockups (e.g., Figma) into interactive and accessible front-end components while maintaining brand consistency.

- Use Storybook to create, document, and test reusable UI components.

- Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Integrate front-end components with headless CMS platforms and APIs (RESTful and GraphQL).

- Implement reusable and customizable content blocks to streamline eCommerce page development.

- Optimize performance for various devices and browsers, focusing on load time, responsiveness, and accessibility.

- Collaborate with QA teams to write test cases and build automated unit tests to ensure high-quality code and performance.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain front-end applications during development and post-launch.

- Assist with work estimation, sprint planning, and documentation in line with Agile best practices.

Minimum Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

- 4 to 8 years of professional front-end development experience, specifically in eCommerce platforms.

- Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.

- Proven experience working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL integrations.

- Demonstrated use of Storybook for UI development and documentation.

- Solid understanding of modular, block-based development strategies.

- Experience with cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards (WCAG compliance).

- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Adobe Commerce, Adobe Experience Cloud, or similar commerce platforms.

- Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub.

- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Understanding of web performance optimization tools and best practices (e.g., Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights).

- Prior experience in a headless commerce architecture is a strong plus.
