About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Email Developer with at least 2 years of hands-on development experience.

This role focuses on building responsive, accessible, and dynamic emails within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) while bringing full-stack awareness to ensure smooth technical collaboration with developers, clients, and marketing teams.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically strong, and able to translate business requirements into scalable, high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Email Development (Core)

- Build and optimize responsive, mobile-first emails using HTML, CSS, MJML, and email-specific frameworks.

- Implement personalization, dynamic content, and conditional logic using AMPscript, Handlebars, or similar.

- Ensure pixel-perfect rendering across Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, and other major clients.

- Perform thorough QA using Litmus, Email on Acid, and SFMC Preview/Test.

SFMC & Integration :

- Work within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) : Content Builder, Automation Studio, Journey Builder.

- Integrate emails with data extensions, APIs, and automation workflows.

- Troubleshoot campaign execution issues and platform-level challenges.

Full-Stack Awareness :

- Collaborate with backend developers on API and data integrations.

- Understand workflows involving CRM, databases, and cloud systems.

- Provide technical recommendations during requirement gathering and campaign planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in email development.

- Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for email and frontend development.

- Proven knowledge of email coding best practices (responsive design, cross-client compatibility).

- Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or other enterprise ESPs.

- Experience with QA/testing tools (Litmus, Email on Acid).

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Hands-on knowledge of AMPscript, dynamic content, and Journey Builder in SFMC.

- Exposure to backend frameworks (Node.js, Express, etc.) and API integrations.

- Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and data privacy compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM).

- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
