About the Role at EMB GLOBAL :

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join our Data Science team, which is focused on transforming the research methodology from traditional fundamental analysis to a Quantamental approachleveraging quantitative techniques and data-driven insights to support investment decision-making.

The role is critical to building cloud-based analytics and data infrastructure for the Public Markets team. You will collaborate closely with backend developers, database engineers, and quantitative researchers to build intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for internal tools and dashboards that directly impact portfolio management and financial research.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop responsive front-end applications and dashboards for internal stakeholders, enabling enhanced portfolio analysis and research

- Collaborate with business users to capture functional requirements and translate them into seamless, user-friendly UI/UX

- Work closely with backend and data engineering teams to ensure optimized application performance and data retrieval

- Assist the database team in designing robust ETL pipelines for continuous ingestion of diverse datasets into cloud infrastructure

- Partner with quantitative researchers to develop interactive, real-time dashboards for portfolio managers and traders

- Build and maintain a data visualization toolkit to simplify data interpretation and empower insight-driven decision-making

Required Skills & Experience :

- Proficiency in React.js or Next.js

- Strong experience in building responsive, cross-browser compatible UIs

- Deep understanding of UI/UX principles and design thinking

- Ability to independently take ownership of frontend architecture and delivery

- Familiarity with state management, build tools, and performance optimization

Preferred (Good-to-Have) Skills :

- Experience with advanced frontend libraries such as ag-Grid, Highcharts, or other charting frameworks

- Exposure to Docker and deployment workflows for frontend applications

Preferred Background :

- Candidates from organizations known for building high-quality technology products or platforms will be preferred.
