ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW :

Nirmit Bharat" is a newly introduced subsidiary of the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), aimed at fostering inclusive digital commerce across India. This initiative includes the development of a new buyer app called DigiHaat, designed to enhance accessibility for small businesses, artisans, and farmers. Currently in its beta testing phase with more than 1 million downloads and orders in last 4 months, DigiHaat aspires to create a seamless and equitable shopping experience, drawing parallels to the BHIM app's approach to democratizing financial transactions.

The project is a part of ONDC's broader mission to democratize and expand digital commerce by leveraging innovative technology and community-based solutions.

Job Description :

- Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, with experience in building production-grade applications using React Native/React Framework.

- Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS, with expertise in creating responsive, mobile-first designs.

- Hands-on experience in mobile development using Android (Kotlin) and/or iOS (Swift/UIKit/SwiftUI) for native apps.

- Solid understanding of mobile responsiveness, touch interactions, and adaptive layouts across devices and screen sizes.

- Prior experience developing and delivering consumer-facing mobile applications, ideally in e-commerce, fintech, or similar transactional domains.

- Experience with performance optimization and reducing mobile load times, bundle sizes, and memory consumption.

- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working closely with backend teams for seamless, real-time data exchange.

Good to Have :

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile releases, OTA updates, and crash/error monitoring using tools like Firebase, Sentry, or App Center.

- Understanding of app store submission processes, code signing, and release management for iOS and Android.
