Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Front End Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance digital touchpoints and applications for our customers and advisors. This role requires expertise in modern front-end technologies, user experience design, and cloud platforms to create seamless, intuitive digital experiences that enhance engagement and accessibility across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

Front end Design & Development :

- Design and develop responsive, user-centric web applications and digital portals

- Build intuitive interfaces for customer and advisor engagement platforms

- Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser/device compatibility

- Implement modern UI/UX patterns, accessibility standards, and best practices

- Integrate front-end applications with backend APIs and data services

- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver cohesive digital experiences

- Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot existing digital touchpoint applications

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end development standards

Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps :

- Deploy and manage Front End code within the AWS ecosystem

- Configure and optimize networking components for API traffic

- Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes

- Manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment

- Monitor application performance and infrastructure metrics

- Collaborate with DevOps teams on infrastructure scaling and optimization

Security & Authentication :

- Implement secure coding practices and OWASP guidelines in front-end development

- Handle sensitive data securely (PII, authentication tokens, payment information)

- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.)

- Conduct security code reviews and vulnerability assessments

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA)

- Apply security headers and implement Content Security Policy (CSP)

Software Development Lifecycle :

- Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, Next.js or similar)

- Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript

- Experience building responsive and accessible web applications

- Knowledge of API (REST & GraphQL) integration and state management

- Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment pipelines

Version control expertise (Git) :

- Strong UX/UI design awareness and user-centered development mindset

- Understanding of security best practices and secure coding principles

- Experience with containerization and cloud infrastructure tools

- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities

Professional Experience :

- 6 - 8 years of professional front-end development experience

- Proven track record in designing and developing responsive web applications

- Demonstrated expertise in creating UI wireframes, mockups, and prototypes

- Experience translating design mockups into functional, pixel-perfect implementations

- Strong portfolio showcasing completed digital projects and applications

- Experience working with design tools (Figma, or similar)

- Proficiency in collaborating with UX/UI designers to implement design specifications
