Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IBM Maximo Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise asset management solutions using IBM Maximo. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Maximo development, integrations, and system customization, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement solutions within IBM Maximo Asset Management
- Configure and customize Maximo modules, workflows, and business objects
- Develop and maintain automation scripts, MBO-based customizations, and application extensions
- Build and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, XML, and Java
- Deploy and manage applications on IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
- Create and maintain BIRT reports for business analytics and reporting needs
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of Maximo applications
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Support system upgrades, patches, and ongoing maintenance activities
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and adherence to best practices
Required Qualifications & Skills :
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management
- Proficiency in Java (Java SDK) and Maximo development frameworks
- Experience with MBO framework, automation scripting, and workflows
- Knowledge of WebSphere Application Server (WAS) deployment and configuration
- Familiarity with integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, XML)
- Working knowledge of Oracle or SQL Server databases
- Experience with BIRT reporting tools
- Understanding of security protocols including SAML authentication
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in Maximo upgrades and version migrations
- Exposure to cloud or hybrid deployment environments
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident/problem management)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
