FOXO - Lead Frontend Developer - React.js/Javascript

Description :

Were looking for a Lead Frontend Developer who can own and build the entire frontend experience of FOXOs platform from core product flows to scalable UI systems. Youll work closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to ship high-quality features that directly impact user health outcomes.

What Youll Do :

- Own the end-to-end frontend architecture and codebase

- Build and ship high-performance, scalable web/mobile interfaces

- Translate product and design ideas into clean, production-ready UI

- Lead development of reusable components and design systems

- Ensure performance, responsiveness, and cross-device compatibility

- Work closely with Product & Design to refine UX through rapid iterations

- Integrate APIs and manage state, data flow, and edge cases

- Establish frontend best practices, code quality, and review standards

- Mentor and guide junior frontend developers as the team grows

What Were Looking For :

- 5- 8 years of strong frontend development experience

- Deep expertise in React.js (or similar modern frameworks)

- Strong command over JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS

- Experience building and scaling consumer (B2C) products

- Solid understanding of performance optimization and frontend architecture

- Ability to own problems end-to-end, not just tasks

- Strong product sense you care about UX, not just implementation

- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, slightly unstructured environment

- High ownership mindset you dont wait, you act

Good to Have :

- Experience with mobile-first or responsive design systems

- Familiarity with Next.js, SSR, or modern frontend tooling

- Exposure to healthtech, data-heavy products, or dashboards

- Understanding of basic backend/API concepts
