Fortinet - Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Python

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong Python scripting expertise, solid debugging skills, and hands-on experience in automation testing.

The role involves developing and maintaining automation frameworks, executing regression tests, and collaborating closely with QA and Development teams to ensure high-quality product releases.

Knowledge of L2/L3 networking will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.

- Enhance existing automation setups for better efficiency, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.

- Execute test automation, analyze results, and provide clear reporting.

- Collaborate with QA/Dev teams to reproduce and debug issues.

- Participate in test planning, scripting, execution, and defect management.

- Document automation code and processes for future reference.

Requirements :

- Education : Bachelors degree in Engineering (Computer Science or related field).

- Experience : 48 years in QA automation.

- Strong hands-on experience with Python (mandatory).

- Exposure to Selenium, Cucumber; knowledge of Ansible, JMeter is a plus.

- Experience with UI and REST API automation (preferred).

- Good knowledge of wired networking / L2-L3 protocols is desirable.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Familiarity with QA methodologies, version control, and defect management tools.

- Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
