Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Senior Quality Engineering Leader to drive an AI-first, automation-first quality strategy across our engineering organization. This is not a traditional QA Manager role. The ideal candidate will act as the final quality gate for production releases, ensuring world-class product quality while embedding quality engineering practices across the entire SDLC.

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as the final quality gate before production releases.

- Define and drive the overall Quality Engineering strategy.

- Build and scale automation frameworks across Web, Mobile, and API layers.

- Establish release quality standards and approval processes.

- Design and implement intelligent smoke, regression, and release validation suites.

- Drive quality ownership across engineering teams.

- Embed testing into CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows.

- Leverage AI tools and automation to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

- Mentor and lead Quality Engineers while fostering a culture of accountability and engineering excellence.

- Analyze production defects and implement preventive quality measures.

Must Have Skills :

- 12+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience in Test Automation.

- Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks.

- Strong coding skills in Java / JavaScript / Python.

- Expertise in API, UI, Integration, and End-to-End Testing.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Release Engineering.

- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools.

- Strong experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

- Exposure to AI-driven testing tools and automation techniques.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Product company experience is highly preferred.

- Experience in high-scale SaaS platforms.

- Experience leading Quality Engineering teams.

- Experience working with microservices architecture.

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

Location :

- Chennai - Work from Office (5 Days a Week)
