Job Summary :

Foodhub is looking for a Senior AI-Native Quality Engineer / Senior SDET to help transform the way we build, automate and validate software quality.

This is not a traditional QA execution role. We are looking for a hands-on automation engineer who combines strong software testing and automation skills with practical experience using AI and LLM technologies.

Work Mode : On-site, Chennai

Notice Period : Immediate / Short Notice Preferred

What You'll Do :

- Design, develop and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Playwright.

- Develop automation for web, API, and mobile applications.

- Build API automation using REST Assured and mobile automation using Appium.

- Integrate automated testing into Jenkins / CI/CD pipelines.

- Develop functional, integration, regression and end-to-end automation.

- Identify and eliminate repetitive manual testing.

AI-Native Quality Engineering :

You will be expected to use AI as an engineering productivity multiplier, including :

- AI-assisted test scenario and code generation.

- AI-assisted debugging, failure analysis, and test maintenance.

- AI-generated synthetic test data and regression analysis.

- Exploring self-healing and intelligent automation approaches.

AI / LLM Testing :

You will contribute to testing AI-powered features for accuracy, hallucinations, prompt injection, and safety guardrails. Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents is strongly preferred.

Required Skills :

- 5 - 8 years of experience in Software Testing, SDET or Quality Engineering.

- Strong programming skills in Java, TypeScript or JavaScript.

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and API automation.

- Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git and automated quality gates.

- Experience with Appium/mobile automation is strongly preferred.

- Practical experience with AI-assisted testing, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation frameworks.
