Location: Salem, Chennai, India

Experience: 3+ Years (with 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience in Oracle HRMS modules)

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle HRMS Technical Consultant with a minimum of 3 years of overall experience and 4+ years of hands-on expertise in Oracle HRMS modules. The ideal candidate will be adept at gathering and defining system requirements, followed by the configuration and implementation of Oracle HRMS solutions, including Business Processes, instance setup, and security. This role requires strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle HRMS Module Expertise :

- Provide extensive hands-on expertise and technical consulting across key Oracle HRMS modules, including Core HR, Payroll, SSHR (Self-Service HR), and OTL (Oracle Time & Labor).

- Understand the intricate technical architecture and data models of these modules.

Requirements Gathering & Solution Design :

- Lead sessions to gather and define detailed system requirements from business stakeholders, translating functional needs into technical specifications for Oracle HRMS.

- Design robust and scalable solutions within the Oracle HRMS framework to meet identified business needs.

System Configuration & Implementation :

- Perform comprehensive configuration of Oracle HRMS modules, including setting up Business Processes, instance parameters, and security profiles (e.g., Responsibilities, Roles, Data Security).

- Implement and test various HR processes, workflows, and integrations.

Customization & Development :

- Develop and modify customizations (Extensions, Personalizations, Custom Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Forms - RICEF) using Oracle development tools (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, Workflow Builder).

- Conduct data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading into Oracle HRMS.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting :

- Provide technical support for Oracle HRMS applications, diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to configuration, data, and integrations.

- Perform performance tuning for modules and custom objects.

Documentation & Best Practices :

- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, test plans, and deployment procedures.

- Ensure solutions adhere to Oracle best practices and established architectural standards.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, business users, project managers, and other technical teams.

- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical discussions, presentations, and stakeholder interactions.

Travel :

- Must have no constraints in travelling for project assignments or client engagements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

- Minimum 3+ years of overall experience in Oracle applications.

- 4+ years of relevant hands-on technical experience specifically with Oracle HRMS modules (Core HR, Payroll, SSHR, OTL).

- Proven track record of participating in full lifecycle Oracle HRMS implementations, upgrades, or support projects.

Technical Expertise (Oracle HRMS):

- Deep understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS architecture.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation, scripting, and troubleshooting.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle Forms and Reports, Oracle Workflow Builder, and BI Publisher for customization and reporting.

- Familiarity with Oracle APIs and Open Interfaces for integrations.

- Knowledge of Oracle Alerts and concurrent programs.

Functional Understanding :

- Ability to comprehend functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Experience in configuring Oracle HRMS business processes.

Problem-Solving :

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

Communication :

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with diverse teams and clients.

Other :

- Willingness and ability to travel as required by project needs.

- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
