Key Responsibilities :

- Develop new Odoo modules and customize existing modules according to business needs.

- Design and implement features and workflows in Odoo using both frontend (QWeb, XML, JavaScript) and backend (Python, PostgreSQL).

- Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and APIs.

- Analyze requirements, develop technical specifications, and deliver high-quality code.

- Participate in system architecture, database design, and performance optimization.

- Debug issues, maintain existing code, and ensure long-term software quality.

- Write unit tests and documentation to ensure maintainability and code quality.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.

Required Technical Skills :

Odoo & ERP Frameworks :

- 25 years of hands-on development experience in Odoo (v12 to v16+)

- Proficiency in Odoo backend development using Python

- Experience in Odoo frontend using QWeb, XML, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS

Database & Integration :

- Strong experience with PostgreSQL

- Knowledge of Odoo ORM and SQL performance optimization

- Experience with Odoo RESTful API integration and web services

DevOps & Tools :

- Source control using Git/GitHub

- Familiarity with Docker or Linux environments for Odoo deployment

- Basic understanding of CI/CD processes

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

- Odoo Certification (preferred but not mandatory)

- Experience in integrating with payment gateways, shipping APIs, or third-party accounting systems

- Familiarity with Odoo.sh and Odoo multi-company/multi-currency setups

- Experience in migrating data between Odoo versions or from legacy systems
