Description :

- Lead the design, development, and scaling of backend systems and architecture across First Clubs platforms

- Drive technical decision-making and establish engineering best practices for backend development

- Collaborate with product, frontend, data, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions

- Architect high-performance APIs, distributed systems, and backend services to support business growth

- Ensure system reliability, scalability, security, and performance optimization across applications

- Review code, mentor engineers, and guide the team on technical implementation and problem-solving

- Manage backend project execution, sprint planning, and technical prioritization

- Improve development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and engineering processes

- Troubleshoot critical production issues and drive long-term technical solutions

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to the overall engineering roadmap

What we are looking for :

- 6 to 10 years of experience in Backend Development or Software Engineering

- Strong expertise in backend technologies such as Node.js, Java, Python, or Go

- Proven experience designing scalable systems, microservices architecture, and distributed applications

- Strong understanding of databases, caching systems, APIs, and cloud infrastructure

- Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices

- Prior experience leading engineering teams and mentoring developers

- Strong system design, analytical, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities in a fast-paced startup environment

- High ownership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills

- Prior experience in e-commerce, consumer tech, or high-growth startups is preferred
