What You'll Do :

- Technical Leadership : Set the example in driving individual user stories to completion from start to finish. Assess and identify risks that may be present to achieving the teams larger goals. Document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure construction.

- Collaborate/Partner : Work in tandem with our platform and software engineering teams and leaders to identify and implement optimal cloud-based solutions for the company.

- Quality & Security Focused : Drive implementation of functionally appropriate and technically sound solutions meeting all quality & security standards.

- Continuous Improvement : Assist the team in achieving ambitious goals, providing regular feedback, and driving continuous improvement. You will participate in all aspects of our software development lifecycle for cloud-based solutions, including planning, defining requirements, developing, testing, and deploying those solutions with the team.

- Extensive experience managing GCP Organizations, Projects, Networking Components, and cloud-native services.

- Hands-on experience creating containerized solutions leveraging Docker/Kubernetes/Cloud Run/etc.

- Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, shift-left methodologies, and DevSecOps processes.

- Comfortable in using and integrating AI tools into enterprise software development pipelines.

- Experience working within a highly regulated industry such as Financial Services or Healthcare preferred.

Technical Skills :

- Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines within GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps for Infrastructure/Application deployments in GCP

- Experience configuring least-privilege GCP IAM roles, Deny Assignments, Organization Policy, VPC Service Controls, etc.

- Experience in managing GCP services such as VPC, Subnets, Storage Buckets, Cloud Run, VM Instances, Load Balancers, Firewall Policy & Rules, Pub/Sub, etc.

- Experience using containerization technologies such as Docker, GKE, Cloud Run, App Engine, etc.

- Solid foundational skills with Networking, Windows, and Linux

- Familiarity with Cloud Security, Compliance, and Policy Management tools such as Prisma Cloud, Checkov, Cloud Custodian, Open Policy Agent, etc
