Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Data Engineer with strong expertise in Advanced SQL, performance optimization, ETL development, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, refine, and scale data pipelines and data infrastructure. Experience in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to convert raw data into meaningful insights that support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

1. SQL Development & Optimization :

- Develop, optimize, and maintain advanced SQL queries and stored procedures.

- Perform query tuning and performance fine-tuning to ensure high-speed data processing.

- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems.

2. ETL Development & Pipeline Management :

- Design, build, and maintain ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.

- Implement scalable, efficient, and maintainable data pipelines.

- Work with Microsoft ETL tools and Azure Data Factory for data ingestion and transformation.

3. Data Analysis & Validation :

- Conduct data analysis, profiling, cleaning, and validation to support business reporting.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver reliable datasets.

4. Data Visualization (Optional but Preferred) :

- Create dashboards and interactive reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.

- Provide actionable insights through meaningful visualizations and analytics.

5. Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Governance :

- Monitor pipeline performance and proactively address bottlenecks or failures.

- Troubleshoot data inconsistencies and provide root-cause analysis.

- Ensure compliance with data security policies and relevant industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.

- Strong expertise in Advanced SQL, query optimization, and database performance tuning.

- Solid experience in ETL pipeline development and data integration processes.

- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Microsoft ETL tools.

- Experience in data cleaning, validation, and transformation.

- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

- Knowledge of C# is an added advantage.
