Role Summary :
As our Finance AI Agent Builder, you will be the lead architect for our agentic finance and revenue operations stack. Your goal is to move beyond simple workflow automation toward autonomous systems that reason through financial data, automate planning workflows, validate compensation logic, and continuously optimize operational efficiency.
This is a Builder role part Engineer, part Finance Systems Strategist, part AI Workflow Architect. You will design and deploy intelligent AI agents that integrate deeply with enterprise finance and planning systems including Workday Adaptive Planning, CaptivateIQ, and/or Anaplan to automate forecasting, compensation workflows, revenue planning, and operational finance processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Autonomous Financial Planning & Forecasting : Build AI agents that analyze historical financial data, identify forecasting anomalies, generate scenario models, and autonomously assist with budgeting and planning workflows inside Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Incentive Compensation & Commission Automation : Design agents that automate commission validation, quota tracking, attainment analysis, payout reconciliation, and compensation exception handling using CaptivateIQ or Anaplan.
- Intelligent Financial Operations : Deploy agents that process financial inputs from multiple systems (CRM, ERP, planning platforms, spreadsheets, APIs) to automate reporting, variance analysis, accrual workflows, and operational finance tasks.
- Dynamic Revenue & Headcount Modeling : Build AI-powered workflows that monitor changes in pipeline, bookings, hiring plans, territory assignments, and revenue performance to dynamically update forecasts and planning assumptions.
- Performance & Guardrails : Establish human-in-the-loop protocols, validation layers, and evaluation frameworks to ensure AI-generated financial outputs remain auditable, accurate, compliant, and aligned with business policies.
- System Orchestration : Connect AI agents to finance and business systems including Workday Adaptive Planning, CaptivateIQ/Anaplan, Salesforce, ERP platforms, BI tools, and internal databases ensuring seamless data flow and automated write-backs.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Professional Experience :
- 2 to 5 years in one or more of the following areas : Finance Systems Engineering, FP&A Systems, Revenue Operations, Financial Automation, or AI Workflow Engineering in a SaaS or enterprise environment.
Finance Systems Expertise :
- Hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning (required).
- Experience with CaptivateIQ (preferred) OR Anaplan (acceptable alternative).
- Experience with Salesforce, ERP systems, NetSuite, or BI platforms is a plus.
AI & Orchestration :
- AI Tooling : Proficiency with agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, LangChain, Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI APIs, or equivalent AI workflow tooling.
- Agent Orchestration : Experience with Make.com, Zapier, N8N, Workato, or custom API-driven orchestration frameworks.
- Prompt Engineering : Ability to design complex reasoning loops, structured outputs, validation layers, and guardrails that prevent hallucinations and ensure reliable finance-grade AI outputs.
- Data Savvy : Comfortable working with JSON, APIs, SQL, financial datasets, ETL pipelines, embeddings, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems.
Finance & Revenue Operations Expertise :
- Knowledge of financial planning workflows, forecasting models, compensation systems, quota management, revenue operations, budgeting processes, and SaaS business metrics.
Ideal Candidate :
The ideal candidate is a hands-on AI workflow builder with strong finance systems knowledge. They should be comfortable operating at the intersection of Finance, FP&A/Revenue Operations, enterprise planning platforms, AI agents, APIs, and workflow automation.
Candidates with strong hands-on experience in Workday Adaptive Planning and AI agent orchestration, along with exposure to CaptivateIQ or Anaplan, will be strongly preferred.
